The Gates of Hell

The gates of hell
Are open by the angel who fell.
He seeks to devour innocents
With a deceitful brilliance.

The souls of men left undefended
There souls will be rended.
Awake does the beast
On morality demons will feast.

The earth stained red
Innocents now lie dead.
All hope is lost
And the world turns to frost.

Sincerely,
Sigmund Creed

Jaws Of A Hungery God

The earth groans
And let’s out starving moans.
It splits open
Unveiled is the devourer of men.
The hungery god rises.

With titanic hands he picks up deaths of humanity
People die screaming, there minds lost to insanity.
It devours woman, man, and child
He plunges man back into the wild.
Society is destroyed.

What we thought was art,
Was music,
Was religion,
Was poetry,
Was humanity,
Was devoured by the jaws of a hungery god.

Sincerely,
Sigmund Creed

A Grim Harvest

The reaper comes and cuts men in half
He throws them away like chaff.
A bloody and icy scythe he wields
As he scours the fields.
It's a grim harvest.

Here comes the maggots that hunger has drove rabid
They feast on corpses out of habit.
The ground is stained red
With the blood of the dead.
The air is filled with noxious fumes.

Sincerely,
Sigmund Creed

Do You See What We've Done

Do you see what we've done
To the society that we run?
It glorifies rage and hate
And it'll consume us at this rate.

We glorify the whore
And let evil in through the front door.
Our politics say the other side is less than human
To rape the woman and kill the man.

We glorify a lustful desire
And for that we will be purified by the fire.
We say we're the best
But we are just as disgusting and savage as the rest.

Sincerely,
Sigmund Creed

The Debating Birds

There once was a blue bird
And a sparrow.
One brought a kind word
The other sorrow.

Each morning they talked
About death and life.
Even though their kin elsewhere flocked
Between them there was no strife.

But one day a crow joined them.
It asked "why do you debate,
About love and hate?" As he looked at them
It said "it should be about what to eat."

The debating birds scoffed
And the crow they did mock.
So the crow flew aloft
And said "be careful, words can't protect you from a hawk."

They continued debating
Ever morning.
The constant chirping was irritating
Especially during a time of mourning.

So one day a man picked up a stone
And aimed for the birds.
Hatefully the stone was thrown,
And the last thing the birds said were fearful words.

The crow looms over the two birds, now dead
It's his turn to mock.
With a gleeful expression on his head
He said "what's philosophy to a rock?"

Sincerely,
Sigmund Creed

Here I Lay Partial Awake

Here I lay partial awake
Floating atop sleep's lake.
With eyes heavy and mind adrift
My veil of reality begins to lift.

I hear men and women scream
Is this reality or a dream?
What is that in the corner,
A demon or angelic mourner?

There it is at the end of my bed
With eyes black and tears red.
Now she's over me, mouth wide
Her breath stinks of death and her skin a hide.

I awake with a fright
And look around with blurry sight.
I'm sure there's something
But there's nothing.

I lay my head back down to sleep
In a blanketed heap.
I let out a fearful gasp
When I hear and feel a disgusting rasp.

Sincerely,
Sigmund Creed

Here Comes The Night

Here comes the night
That is lit by the moon's light.
Here comes the wolf's of fright
And the ghosts that stay out of sight.

Here comes the beasts of fear
And the stalkers that you never hear.
Here comes the abomination of a deer
Brought to life by a pagan and ancient sear.

When it is black as night
And the moon shines bright
Imagination and reality merge
And fear begins to surge.

We can't trust what we see.
So we go to our beds and close our eyes
And try to sleep with fearful sighs
While telling ourselves the tales are just frightful lies.

Sincerely,
Sigmund Creed
